Old refrigerator giving you a hard time? Is a handyman quoting you at several hundred dollars to simply replace a bad compressor?

Bring it to us for Cash!

OR

Pick-Up your appliance!  Appliance Disposal!
Call Kenny at 919-348-0545 for Appliance Removal!

Protect the wallet and don't waste your money on something that might well break again, especially if we're talkin' about a fridge from the '90s! Instead, haul your load to 2310 Garner Rd., Raleigh, NC, just south of Downtown Raleigh, NC, 27610 and get some money for that dilapidated appliance, whether it be an old refrigerator, microwave, freezer, dishwasher, dryer, washing machine, ice chest, or some other metal appliance, even if there's some plastic or glass on it. You can get rid of appliances six days a week at Raleigh Recycling!  We are great at Appliance Recycling.  We'll have you in and out, and our process is designed to make getting paid for doing some scrap metal recycling in the great state of North Carolina more efficient, exhilarating, rewarding, than ever before!  Remember, you can come from Cary, Durham, Clayton and Wake Forest to drop off your old refrigerator, too! We're not too far away from either of those places!
To get around expensive repair costs, when it comes right down to it, buying a new or slightly used appliance is oftentimes the best choice a consumer can make. Getting an extra $20 or $30 (prices are currently $8.00 per 100 pounds) or more (1000 pounds = about $80-Cash!) for scrapping that old refrigerator makes a lot of sense in such a case.  OK, and for those that hate math, 12 cents a pound.
All you have to do is haul that old fridge down to 2310 Garner Rd., near Downtown Raleigh, NC, 27610 and VOILA! Go around the left corner of the building.

Old refrigerator delivery area. Bring it on in to Raleigh Meta Recycling
Scale for you and Your Car! Raleigh Metal Recycling

You'll see the truck scales right in front of you. Go onto the scale that's closest to the building, and drive up to the second scale booth that will be on your left. One of our scale masters will inform you of all you need to keep in mind upon driving into the yard to do some good 'ole fashioned scrap recycling!  Raleigh Scrap Metal Recycling.  We have great scrap metal prices!

An old refrigerator isn't the only thing you can bring us!

And also, perhaps you'd like to bring in some steel, too, since that old refrigerator might be lonesome in the back of the pickup. Pieces of steel make for great items to bring through our truck scales, too. We buy loads of prepared steel, i.e., steel that's less than 3 feet by 2 feet that have no non-metals attached to them, for $0.75 more per hundred pounds than the bigger steel pieces (unprepared steel (3'x2' or greater in size)).
So, though we're certainly an appliance recycler, we help the environment and our customers by processing many other metal objects as well. Examples are aluminum cans and rims, motors, brass doorknobs, sheet copper, even junk cars!
We welcome any questions you might have about our operation; therefore, by all means, put 919-828-5426 into your phone so we can talk recycling sometime!

Growing Supply Leaves Physical Copper Quoted at RMB 0-100/mt Discounts (Sept. 25, 2014)

Sep 25, 2014 08:09 GMT   Source:SMM

SHANGHAI, Sept. 25 (SMM) – Physical copper in Shanghai was quoted Thursday at a RMB 0-100/mt discount to the SHFE 1410 copper contract. Traded prices were RMB 48,400-48,640/mt for standard-quality copper and RMB 48,430-48,750/mt for high-quality copper.
As SHFE copper fell back on Thursday, cargo holders and traders rushed to move goods to generate cash. This, combined with prevailing caution among market participants, left physical copper quoted at a discount across the board. As a result, some middlemen went bargain-hunting, while downstream producers slightly ramped up purchases at low prices. Trading activity, however, didn’t improve markedly on Thursday, with no active raw material stock-building reported ahead of the National Day holiday.
copper, copper tipsA steep fall in the copper prices was seen which made the fall by 0.30% a kg should be a ‘watch out’ call for copper future traders. Consequently, metal was trading at414.50 per kg in futures trade. This fall was post overseas developments which led to the stronger position of copper.
Subsequent to the above, copper due for delivery in November was down by 1 Rupee as per the last records at Multi Commodity Exchange. In the experts’ and analysts’ opinion, low demand for the metal in domestic market as well as profits booked by the speculators equally contributed to the fall in copper futures.
But the fall in prices kept considerably under check as a result of the boost in base metal demand overseas. This is especially significant because of the base metal sales figures in US which are notably highest in last six years!

We Remember

We Remember

As another year passes since 9/11/2001, we remember that terrible day when we were attacked by people that hate the Freedom that we stand for.  We as Americans should stand together to support our troops and pray that our government leaders do the right things to keep us safe and free.

Copper Rises Before U.S. Jobs Report as Surplus Elusive

Copper rose in London, narrowing this week’s drop, on speculation today’s U.S. jobs report will boost the demand outlook as falling stockpiles cast doubt on analyst forecasts of a 2014 surplus.
U.S. companies probably boosted payrolls in August by more than 200,000 for a seventh consecutive month, according to a Bloomberg survey. Copper stockpiles in warehouses monitored by the London Metal Exchange dropped 58 percent this year even as the International Copper Study Group forecast an annual surplus.
“The mood is mildly upbeat,” said Stephen Briggs, an analyst at BNP Paribas SA in London. “The main thing about copper is we’ve got this familiar story of new mines, and it’s not really showing up in the numbers. My view is the surplus is quite small.”
Copper for delivery in three months advanced 0.3 percent to $6,953 a metric ton by 10:19 a.m. on the LME. Prices slipped 0.4 percent this week and 5.5 percent for the year. Futures for delivery in December rose 0.2 percent to $3.1575 a pound ($6,961 a ton) on the Comex in New York.
Stockpiles were unchanged today at 154,700 tons, the LME said in its warehouse report. Inventories monitored by the Shanghai Futures Exchange dropped for a fifth straight week, according to bourse data today.
“The surplus is quite small, but I think it will become more evident in coming months,” Briggs said. “Price action this year suggests the market shares my view.”
The jobs report is due at 8:30 a.m. in Washington.
Copper rose yesterday as the European Central Bank announced stimulus measures. “Copper still looks weak from a technical perspective, and I don’t think this will be enough to turn the tide of bearish sentiment,” said Daniel Smith, head of Dan Smith Commodities Research Ltd. in London.
Copper analysts and traders are the most bearish in a month on prices for next week on speculation demand is stalling, according to the Bloomberg weekly sentiment survey.
Aluminum and lead declined in London as nickel advanced. Zinc and tin were little changed.

But for that to sustain, the medium-to-long-term drivers too need to align in favour of miners. Photo: Bloomberg Copper prices have come under pressure in 2014 due to growing fears of a slowing Chinese economy and what that means for metal demand. Worries about a slowdown in demand come at a time when supply has been projected to increase. During this period, China’s crackdown on using metal as collateral in financing transactions too may have affected another source of demand for copper. Last week saw two announcements offering differing opinions. China’s factory output slipped to a three-month low in August, according to HSBC’s flash purchasing managers’ index (PMI) data, and new orders too suffered a similar fate. If that is an indication that China’s economy is going to slow further, and sectors such as property are feeling the heat, then it is a sign of trouble for dependent sectors such as copper. But miners seem quite confident about their long-term future. They have been taking steps to combat the slowdown, by delaying new projects (to restrict fresh supplies) and by cutting out unviable capacities from the market. Last week also saw Glencore Plc, a large commodity trader and mining company, announce its results. It gave a rather upbeat outlook for the metal. But note that this was before the PMI data was released. Glencore said that a deficit situation for copper cathodes in the first half of 2014 was met by reductions in exchange stocks. This has led to a lowering of inventories. Though supply is expected to pick up in the second half, Glencore expects shortages in scrap, risks in ageing mines and delays in new mines to keep output in check. On the demand side, it expects continued Chinese strength and improving Western demand to keep supply in check. But China’s economic growth is one variable that continues to elude a pattern. Freeport-McMoRan Inc., a large copper producer, shares this view. Glencore said that a reduction in capital expenditure could see deficit markets again from 2015. The view that emerges may appear a bit confusing. But that is an outcome of the environment. What companies seem to be saying is that inventories have been coming down in the first half, due to a shortage of copper cathodes. Even then, copper prices have declined. Now, supply is expected to improve, but low inventory levels and better demand conditions are expected to play a balancing role. The critical point is whether demand can step up to the occasion and ensure that a potential increase in supplies is met by the market. Glencore’s announcement saw copper prices perk up late last week and did not get affected even by China’s flash PMI data. But for that to sustain, the medium-to-long-term drivers too need to align in favour of miners.
