Brass at Raleigh Metal Recycling, 2310 Garner Road, Raleigh, NC 27610, (919)828-5426

Yellow BRASS (door knobs)
Raleigh Scrap Metal Recycling

We Buy BRASS at Raleigh Metal Recycling! Brass comes in many grades, which are determined by their metal content. To be defined as BRASS, the metal must contain a certain amount of Copper that has been mixed with Zinc, Tin, or other metals. The price paid for BRASS depends on the percentage of copper and the other types of metals present.

Yellow BRASS is the grade most commonly found around the house. Metal door knobs (picture above), light fixtures, and lamps are often made of Yellow BRASS- which is composed of Copper and Zinc. The picture below shows “Red BRASS,” a metal grade mostly composed of Copper and Tin. Metal sculptures are often made of Red BRASS, as are metal bearings and clips.

DON’T FORGET TO BRING YOUR BRASS NEXT TIME YOU VISIT RALEIGH METAL RECYCLING!
For today’s prices call our main number at 919-828-5426 and after the Greeting, Press 2, you will hear a recording of "Today's Prices".

Computer Recycling, Disposal of Computers

Computer Recycling
in Raleigh, NC, Durham, NC

Computer Recycling, disposal of computers, or however you'd like to say it, Recycling Computers is one of the key things we do at Raleigh Recycling!  Electronics Recycling here is at its best, and the best don't mess!  Though we'll admit that we love buying other things like Junk Cars or Old Refrigerators, we are the largest buyer of worn-out computers from the public in the Triangle.  Would you happen to live in Raleigh, Cary, Durham, Wake Forest, Clayton? If so, come see us, guys! Some even drive to us from places like Henderson and Greensboro.  We'll also buy the electrical cords from old monitors (though we unfortunately don't take the monitors themselves right now), keyboards, and even laptop batteries and those heavy back-up batteries.  If you've been wondering "Where do I recycle my computer," we're proud to say your answer is this: Raleigh Scrap Metal Recycling, about two miles from downtown Raleigh!

See our site for other things we buy such as old Appliances.  We even help you unload them from your car or truck. Got copper wires? Insulated or not, we'll be happy to buy what you got!  Don't take them to the dump.  Take them to Raleigh Recycling and let us pay you for them!

The importance of computer disposal

A key about computers is that they have some metals and chemicals that should not go into the landfill, so it is bad to mix them in with your trash. Not only that, though--bring the computer and other metal, or mostly metal (yes even vacuum cleaners that have a lot of plastic) to us so we can pay you for them, too!

So come check us out! We're open M-F from 8:00 to 4:30, and Saturday from 7:00 until 2:00!  And remember: Recycling computers is what we do!
