Scrap Metal Prices

Scrap Metal Prices
Raleigh, Durham, NC North Carolina

Steel
As of today, we believe scrap metal steel prices will be up next month.  We do not see any major increases coming for a long time.  The US economy is getting better slowly, but with China and Europe slowing down, that hurts the price of scrap metal in the U.S.  We are Raleigh Metal Recycling continue to do our best to pay you the most.  For Commercial and Industrial companies, we a have the largest fleet of trucks in the Triangle and beyond, picking up from factories and demolition sites.  We have fast service, due to we have almost twice as many scales as our biggest competitors.  We also ship direct to steel mills, by rail road car.  Many of them ship by truck and use middle men-brokers to sell their steel, meaning we have great shipping costs and prices.  We share that with you, not truckers and brokers!

Copper, Aluminum, Brass
Not good here.  Copper prices hit a three year low this week.  They are slightly better today, but not much.  Scrap copper prices remain lower than that have been in months.
